Journey to Wellness 12.4

I am feeling really good about my weight loss and wellness efforts lately! For the first time in a very long time, I love that I have something positive to report in this area!

This past weekend, I went to the gym TWICE. Yes, twice in one weekend. I worked out with my regular trainer, James, on Saturday. Then on Sunday one of my best friends who happens to be a star athlete turned trainer, put me through another workout on Sunday.

Silly me, I forgot to eat before training on Sunday so I got tired really fast. The workout was completely different from what I am used to, so I felt like I just sucked… BUT I was able to get through it. I do have some video footage, but I was not able to edit it properly, so I won’t be sharing that. Hopefully next time I will record it using my own phone so I can edit the footage to share on Instagram though.

yesterday you said tomorrow

My eating has been very good too. Right after the holiday, I cleaned it up using some of the tactics from Dolvett’s book.Β Β I just didn’t feel like eating heavy foods and more importantly, I got tired of seeing the number on the scale climb. I guess it finally clicked for me. I really want to reach my weight loss goals. Obviously, I know I cannot cram an additional 20lb weight loss into the month of December BUT I can work towards that goal slowly but surely.

Tonight I signed up for a Bollywood dance classΒ via SweatGuru too. I can and I will get in at least 3 solid workouts this week! So much has been going on that I really benefit from the stress relief of working out.

How has your week been?

Any last minute wellness goals before we close 2013?

Sounds like you had a solid, productive week! Nice, congrats! And the fact that there are Bollywood classes somewhere on this planet, and I’ve never heard of it – is a problem, lol. That sounds so fun!

OMG! A Bollywood dance class! I mean you shared a lot of exciting things and I’m so proud of you for two workouts on a weekend. Wow! But a Bollywood dance class may make all my dreams come true. Except the part where I look like a beautiful, exotic Bollywood star.

This makes me smile! Glad that you’re getting there! I can’t wait for the post when you tell us you got there, I know it won’t be long!

This week was really good for me with working out and eating. I saw weight loss too and I think I’m ready to get it together again. I just need to. I’m tired of seeing the numbers climb and saying I’ll be better tomorrow. It has to happen now. I’m hoping to reach a few goals before 2013 is over and kick 2014’s ass πŸ™‚
