A few weeks ago, I was on the hunt to get a few sponsors to help me out with the FitBloggin costs. Since I am a part of the community keynote, my conference registration is covered, but that still leaves my flight from NYC to Oregon and the hotel. Sadly, I was not able to find any sponsorships, but I was able to land an ambassador role with Ellie. If you don’t know anything about Ellie, formerly PVBody, they are a company that sends its members a monthly shipment of workout clothes. You can choose a top and a bottom, the way I usually do, or you can choose 2 tops, 2 bottoms, or even skip a month if you need to. If you aren’t sure what you want, they will even pick out an outfit for you based upon a quiz that you take when you sign up. I’ve been a member since December and have absolutely loved my experience thus far. The best part is that it is only $49.95 per month.
Once I got in touch with the marketing representative for the Ambassador program, she told me to pick out one set to review on my blog FREE of charge. I was too excited, and I wanted to pick something fun for ya’ll to see. Both pieces are from the April 2013 Coral Crush line that was released a few months ago. The Dynamic Duo Top is actually 2 pieces together as one, which I love. It’s a full tank with a cropped tank on top. Since they are sewn together at the top, I don’t have to worry about them moving around too much. The Double Decker Capri is also super comfy, and the waist band is layered so you can fold down the coral part to reveal a plain gray band. Personally, *cough*cough* I am a bit too hippy for any type of roll down waist band, so mine will be staying up *cough*.
I’ve been wearing Ellie to the gym consistently since December when I first enrolled in the program, and I love the whole line; especially the little black leggings. I think I have ordered at least 3 pairs so far. If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen a few shots of me wearing the them. As far as sizing goes, I wear a medium pant and a small top. The bottoms in particular have A LOT of stretch and I find that the large bottoms tend to be too large after I have worked out for a few minutes.
So, if you want to try them out, Ellie gave me a special code to share with ya’ll. Just go HERE and you will get 20% off of your first order. I know I have said it before, but it goes without saying, I will only endorse brands that I actually wear and/or love. While I received this particular outfit for free in exchange for a review, my review is honest and I loved this product long before I was an ambassador.
