If you’re in the northeast right now – I hope your safe and sound during this storm! I’m writing to you from Boston, MA – pleasantly snowed in at Taj Boston on a work trip. (I’ve shared some behind-the-scenes on InstaStories).
Today I want to chat with you about why you haven’t been able to achieve your goals. Every. Single. Year. If you’ve achieved your goals (kudos to you!) but that’s not the normal scenario.
Every single year we set enormous goals in January. Even if you don’t believe in new years resolutions, many people go into the new year saying… “this is the year that I will….”, “I’ve got to master…..”, “I’m so tired of …., so I’m going to …..”.
Those are still goals! We just don’t like to call them that since it makes them more daunting. But let’s call a thing, a thing. They are goals and deep down there is a part of you that wants to work towards them.
You’ve heard the quote, but I’ll say it again… with an explanation: If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
But what does a plan really include?
Your Vision for Change.
A Focal Point for Your Vision.
Clear Cut Core Values.
A 90-Day Action Plan.
An Evaluation Strategy.
A plan is more than creating a vision board and hoping the dreams start to manifest on their own. A true plan is broken down into the big goal, tasks, motivation and an evaluation strategy. You’ve got to have it all to get it all.
