If you’re getting ready to make a change in your career, no matter how big or small, you need to know what skills you want to use in your next role. More importantly, you need to learn how to talk about them in your job search. Talking about yourself in an interview is one of the most difficult parts of the job search process.
On November 15th, I’m joining Emily Lamia to teach a portion of her curriculum in a Mini-Pivot Journeys Workshop in New York City. Ever feel like you don’t quite know what your unique skills are, and how to talk about what you bring to the table in an interview?
We will be covering this in a 90-minute workshop.
This Mini Pivot Journeys workshop will help you:
- Get clear on the unique skills you bring to your work;
- Zero in on the skills you want to use in your next job;
- Walk away with a more refined ‘pitch’ that allows you to communicate your value; and
- Gain the confidence you need to ace an interview!
WHEN: Tuesday, November 15th from 6:30 – 8:00pm
WHERE: Center for Social Innovation, 601 West 26th street #325, New York, NY
***Be sure to select the NYC Workshop on 11/15 ***
Interviewing is BY FAR my favorite topic to cover with clients. You can network into a company. You can get a call or email for an interview. But you cannot get through an interview without being able to effectively communicate your skills and interests.
I really hope to see you there!
